Jump to section:

Divide, multiply, subtract, repeat

Answer = quotient + remainder over divisor

What to Remember

Long division

Divide the leading terms. Multiply that result by the divisor. Subtract.

Repeat until the remainder has a smaller degree than the divisor.

The answer
